Project: A Year in Photos from Sony World Photography Awards

This 60-minute documentary, presented by British art historian Jacky Klein and entertainer Nish Kumar, celebrates the work of photographers who won an award at the 2021 Sony World Photography awards. The film takes an in-depth look the stories and photographers behind the award winning work.
As a photography enthusiast myself this was a dream project to work on. Being the lead editor on this film I was working with footage that was sent in across the world from the likes of South Korea to Zimbabwe which made editing the documentary all the more exciting as it really was a global project. Each photographer had short vignette within the film that delved into the process and inspiration – I was the Director/Cinematographer of two of the photographer vignettes, including the overall winner Craig Easton (whose work is incredible!). Very inspiring and an great project to work on. Check out the film below:
